How will we live and work in the future? Is it possible for Tofta, Gotland to develop for a new way of living?

The topic is housing, and the work consists of an investigation of how Tofta, Gotland can be developed and how a new typology can be created and implemented. The objective is quality housing for social sustainability, recreation and health. Furthermore, to ensure a strong community with year-round activity.

A typology is created that enables densification though acknowledges tradition and context. Moreover, it enables for functions and users to change during the year. The typology is gradually going from an ordered public side to a scattered private side.
