Today, it is easy to manipulate, conceal, or edit materials. What we do not want to be seen or what is disliked can simply "vanish". This artwork explores the following questions:

What is chosen to be shown and what is chosen to be excluded? Which opinions receive attention and which ones are ignored?

Who decides what should be visible and receive attention?

Which values are considered significant and which ones are overlooked?

A significant portion of the information we encounter is edited, biased, or serves a specific purpose. It is often "photoshopped". This means that many of the images of the world we consume are not entirely truthful. It can also be the case that certain information is entirely invisible or out of context, leading to a distorted perception. Moreover, many critical voices tend to "vanish," and there may be a fear of expressing oneself. There are also other aspects that can be interpreted.

There is a desire to alter reality and represent it in a specific way. This can involve concealing or altering personal flaws, people, opinions, or even our history.

The artwork demonstrates how people manipulate reality by physically concealing certain parts of an image. It can be described as a kind of "Old School Photoshop", where manipulation takes place in the real world. This creates a slightly comical portrayal that sheds light on a serious issue.

In one of the images, a work by the Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei is visibly censored, adding further depth to the artwork as the concealed piece addresses issues of freedom of speech, censorship, and government oppression. This raises questions about what is true and false, right and wrong, and corruption, as what was intended to criticize censorship in this image has become a form of censorship itself, whether consciously or unconsciously.

Furthermore, the series of photographs creates a narrative that the viewer is invited to interpret.
